Shirley Bates Disorda

Shirley (Bates) Disorda, 80, died Tuesday October 18th, 2016 at her home.

She was born March 12, 1936, in Proctor, daughter of George and Marie (Avery) Bates.

Shirley was a 1954 graduate of Mount St. Joseph Academy.

She attended Immaculate Heart of Mary Church.

Ms. Disorda was employed by the Economy Department Store.
Shirley was a caretaker for her daughter, Jacquline.

She enjoyed baking and gardening.

Surviving are her three sons Peter Jensen of Moosup, CT, David Jensen of Rutland, and Matthew Disorda of Essex; a daughter, Jacquline Disorda of Rutland; three brothers, George Bates, Ken Bates, Dean Bates of Rutland; and a sister, Dolores Rodrique of Rutland; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her sisters, Mary Swane and Barb Dalto, and her infant sister, Madeline Bates; brothers, Robert Bates and Ronald Bates.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 am Saturday Oct. 22, 2016 in Immaculate Heart of Mary Church.
Calling hours will be held at the Clifford Funeral Home on Saturday from 10 am to 11 am.
