Susan Ann Chabot

RUTLAND                 Susan Ann (Keefe) Chabot, 66, of Rutland, VT, died on October 20, 2024 in her home with family by her side.

Susan was born on February 12, 1958 in Rutland, VT, the daughter of Ronald and Joan (Harte) Keefe.

She attended school at Rutland High School and graduated with the class of 1976

She married Dennis Chabot on November 17, 1979

Sue was the friendly face at register 12 in the Rutland Walmart for over 17 years.

She enjoyed crafts and camping. Swimming and traveling. She loved entertaining friends and family with a good old fashioned backyard BBQ. And she was known for having the biggest brightest most welcoming beautiful smile ever. She loved planning parties was always first in line to help anyone with anything. Her heart was as big and beautiful as her smile.

Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Dennis Chabot, her two children, Kasey Fletcher and husband Eric, and son Dennis Chabot Jr and wife Daisy, all from Rutland and two step children Tonya Chabot of Rutland and Richelle Chabot from Mesa Arizona.

Susan is also survived by her sister Linda Keefe of Madison Wisconsin, Kathy Keefe,

of Rutland and her brothers Richard Keefe and Kevin Keefe both of Rutland and Mike Keefe of Colchester Vt.

Susan had five grandchildren Breanna Pena, Chelsea Pena, Austin Sagasta, Kaitlyn Pena and Emma Pallutto. She had several nieces and nephews, Aunts, Uncles and cousins.

She was predeceased by her father Ronald Keefe and her grand daughter Breanna Pena.

Calling hours will be held Nov 10, 2024 at Clifford Funeral home from 1:00pm to 3:00pm

A word of prayer will be held following the calling hours

Immediately following the calling hours and prayer there will be a celebration of life from 3:00pm until 6:00pm at a location yet to be determined.

Arrangements are under the direction of Clifford Funeral Home.
