Tammy Ann Welch Crossman (1958-2025)
Tammy Welch Crossman, 67, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 26, at her
home in Rutland. Tammy was born in Rutland to Joseph and Ethel Welch. She
graduated from Mount St. Joseph Academy and was a lifelong resident of Rutland.
Tammy owned The Artful Dodger and worked in customer service.
One of Tammy’s greatest joys in life was being a mom—she beamed with pride for her
sons, Corey and Tim. Her deepest love was for her grandchildren: Wilder, Isabella, and
Sebastian. Nothing made Tammy prouder than being “Grammy.”
Tammy was an avid lover of film. She could name any movie, its cast, and how she felt
about it! She also loved to read, especially the works of Stephen King. She had a deep
affinity for the ocean, particularly the Maine coast, where she made countless memories
with her family.
She is survived by her son, Corey; daughter-in-law, Robyn; and granddaughter, Isabella
Nagy of New Orleans, LA; as well as her son, Timothy Crossman; daughter-in-law,
Jessica; and grandsons, Wilder Crossman and Sebastian Chretien of Leicester, VT. She
is also survived by her sister, Patty Welch of Newmarket, NH.
She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Ethel Welch, and her twin brother,
Timothy J. Welch.
A celebration of life for her family will be held.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Rutland County Humane Society.
