Therese A. Lyons, 89, of Rutland died Saturday August 27, 2016 at The Meadows at East Mountain.
She was born in Rutland January 27, 1927 the daughter of Clarence and Anna (Nolan) Quinn.
Therese was a graduate of Mount Saint Joseph Academy and Rutland Business College.
She enjoyed knitting, watching sports, listening to music and spending time with her family and friends.
Surviving are a daughter, Mary Beth Barrett of Rutland, one son John R. Lyons and companion Sue Stacey of West Rutland, one grandson, Chad Lyons.
She was pre-deceased by her husband Charles F. Lyons April 22, 2016
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are under the direction of Clifford Funeral Home in Rutland.
