Tina M. Poppleton

Tina M. Poppleton, 55, of Rutland Town passed away Saturday August 20, 2016 at her home surrounded by her family.
She was born in Malone, NY June 21, 1961 the daughter of Peter and Jean (Provost) Johnson.
Tina was a graduate of Grand Gorge Central School in New York. In 1996 she graduated from Fulton Montgomery Community College with a degree in Computer Information Systems.
On August 14,1999 she married her soul mate Bradley Poppleton.
Tina was a bookkeeper and receptionist for BROC and a ski instructor with Killington and Pico.
She enjoyed backpacking, skiing, gardening and most of all being a grandmother.
Surviving are her husband and soul mate Brad of Rutland Town, her mother Jean Johnson of Grand Gorge, NY, a daughter Jessica Anastasio and husband Frank of Broadalbin, NY, one son Joshua Clark and wife Shannon of Mayfield, NY, three grandchildren, Chloe and Leah Anastasio and Landen Clark; two brothers, Jeffrey Johnson of Grand Gorge, NY and Roger Johnson of Coral Springs, FL, three sisters Judy Ulscht of Cape Cod, MA, Joy Johnson of Durham, NY and Julie Johnson of Okinawa, Japan
She was predeceased by her father, and by two brothers, Timothy and Thomas Johnson.
Funeral services will be held Friday August 26, at 3:00pm at United Methodist Church in Rutland. Officiating will be Rev. Hannah Rogers, Pastor.
A celebration of life will be announced and held at a later date at PICO Base Lodge in Killington.
Arrangements are under the direction of Clifford Funeral Home in Rutland.
