Rutland - Wilma K. Morris

Wilma K. Morris 99, died Monday morning June 22, 2026 at Rutland Regional Medical Center after a lengthy illness.

She was born November 8, 1926 in Rutland the daughter of William E. “Chub” Morris and Katherine (Hartney) Morris.

She lived for several years at Templewood Court in Rutland.

Wilma was a graduate of Mount Saint Joseph Academy in Rutland, Vermont

She had worked for many years as a secretary at Howe Scale, Rutland Regional Medical Center and for Dr. William O’Rourke.

Wilma was well known for her Standard Poodles and her most recent pup Suzette. She also danced as a senior in several dance recitals in Rutland including the Paramount.

Survivors include her nephews Samuel J. Gorruso (Donna) of Rutland and Robert E. Gorruso Sr. of Rutland

She was predeceased by her parents and by her sister Mary A. Gorruso.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Christ the King Church on Friday June 26, 2026 At 10AM.
